How do i fix it?
I don't remember. Same thing happened to me in moon, I guess just begin a save up until you can save (try sayin that three times fast, kek) and then restore

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also yes I know that's what you did but I did that and I still have that save
Keep trying dood

You delete the save by pressing b, x, and UP on the dpad I think (check the digital manual, it's like the fourth page)
You still have than "main" file tight? I use JKs save manager so I don't know if yours is different

It's inside a folder with Pokémon Sun's ID on it. Also, that save file is encrypted. It won't work.

You did something else that you're not mentioning. Not trying to say you're lying or anything like that, but that error is when the game detects an older save than the last one used. ie say you backed up your SD card, played the game and saved it, then restored the backup onto a new SD card, the save would show that error. Because it's not the latest save.

Wow youre exactly right! Thank you so much!!!!

I didn't think that would be a problem! I played it and saved my game after i backed up tthe save but i thought it would replace it to my old save but it dosnt, thats what the error was!

Yeah... Thanks again!

You can use JK's Save Manager to delete the secure value which should get your save working again, but you'll need homebrew access to do so.
