Just uploaded v1.4, this is just a safety measure really.
-added anti move/delete protection of the ds vc title when in CBHC CFW
NOTE: this change (as well as the last update) do NOT AFFECT MOCHA CFW, they only affect my internal CBHC CFW which you can enable by just setting it to autoboot system menu which will give you full signature and region patching as well as this protection and re-applying patches on reloads; overall letting your wiiu and the menu run as they would normally

What moves does it prevent specifically?

The ONLY THING you can do to brick your console with CBHC right to purposefully go into the system settings and try to either delete the title "DONT TOUCH ME" or try to move the "DONT TOUCH ME" title to USB; and now I even patch that for the people who still for whatever unknown reason call it a "high brick risk" cause I got annoyed reading that.

I personally think it's unneeded, I guess "DONT TOUCH ME" isn't good enough lol. At least now it's more safe for people that really shouldn't be messing with coldboot anyways. Probably for the best sadly.

Well the QuickStart works but if you try to launch something it won't launch because you boot into something else. It would be cool if it patched and signed everything with region free then launched the app or game you chose, but idk if that'll happen as for now have QuickStart off.

Just install CBHC 1.4 via HBL, that's all forks!!

I wish others would quit their OCD about splash screens and just accept what it is now or make your own from source. Having cosmetic adjusts doesn't improve anything better.

I can doubt that, I mean FIX94 can refuse to do it, but there is the fact that is good that a good software comes with a nice GUI (a splash screen in this case), about the CBHC's menu is enough the console's font since it pretends to be a recovery menu

@FIX94 thank you for your amazing job as usual <3 I'm only curious about two things , after installing CBHC, will your system still work without an SD card inserted ? and what if someday you decided to update or accidentally updated your system, would that cause a brick ?

There's not really an easy way to do it. Don't install over CBHC, it won't work (I tried). Instead, you have to do this:

You dont need a sd card, also it probably would brick but who really knows, it all depends on if the addresses will be the same or not in another system version which we of course cant know.

Also of course its just fine to install it over as long as you dont have usb connected, I did it every single time so far with all my tests and had no trouble.

think there would be a way to patch the automatic updates then ? as long as they're enabled and the fact that we don't have a boot loader exploit as of yet means there is some risk - sigh-

the thing is, since 5.5.1 is the latest update there is no real way of testing a patch or anything so besides playing a guessing game I cant do much more but to say use some proxy or dns server to block updates out, thats how I always just did it.

You can just install CBHC as you know your current CBHC/Haxchi works or your coolboot wouldn't work. Makes sense? As for your second DS VC title, haxchi 2.3u1 is still the lastest in this build/release so there's no need to update it.

This is useless and "not" recommend by the author of CBHC/Thread OP.
