im not going to feed the beast lol im sure something will come along but im very tempted.
If you are going to pirate games, it's only fair that Nintendo gets $7 more from you. I actually had $20 in credit left over from previous purchases, so I had to spend it on something.

I have a bit of a strange question, so please bear with me.

I'm not interested in playing "backups", and I'm very interested in seeing how far I can go with the console before it would normally brick. To that extent, would it be possible to add an option to the expert config view mode to turn sigpatches off in redNAND?

I don't want to be in a situation where editing files works in redNAND due to the sigpatches but would brick on stock sysNAND - I'd much rather have the 'safe brick' where it's relatively easy to restore the redNAND and continue.

I made a custom launch image if anybody is interested in using it. You'll have to flip it vertically (I'm not sure why Mocha flips the image) and save it as a proper TGA.

How to make a working tga launch logo?
What are the requirements? Size?
What is the best app to use to alter a tga and save it?

Everyone I make doesnt work properly.

here are the tga requirement.
I'll add it to tgaVerify's first post for an easy way to find it.

1. the icon MUST be 128x128 pixels
2. the icon MUST have a depth of 32. (add an alpha channel)
3. all of the .tga files MUST have ........TRUEVISION-XFILE.. at the end of the file
4. all of the .tga files MUST be uncompressed
128x128px is for icons, 896x504px for the background.

edit:
your tga is upside down, that's required?
your tga is 8bit deph not 32, so 32 is only for the icons's transparency?
your tga has a white bar, is that normal?

Anytime its a pleasure! Please let me know when you are ready again and I will have another go for you.
There you go mate. If this still doesn't work I gotta do even more research. :P
Be sure to rename the file inside the zip to launch_image.tga :)

Edit: Please use the zip of my newest post instead!

1: Some strange reason Mocha requires the tga to be vertically flipped.
2: My tga is 16 bit not 8.
3: the white bar is not normal, but it's ok. I use it as a "margin" to slide the image to the left a little, but the white bar does not show.

I think you wanted to quote Cyan, not me?
