Hacking Exhumed on dosbox vita

I'm trying to play powerslave through dosbox on my vita and I get an error every time I try. Commander Keen works fine.. but exhumed gives me an error.. is this normal?

Just tried another cd game.. Albion.. gives me an error message. I wish I could play dark forces on my vita

I could not help for your Dosbox issue, but Dark Forces runs fine via PS1 emulation (native or pops emulation)

Why not try the PSX version of PowerSlave? It has some GFX effects not present on the original and minor modifications to in game maps.

Lol, yeah, I could play those but the PC version is the one I like best. I wonder if the vita could pull off BLOOD through dosbox? To ponder and wonder.

It would appear that mounting CD drives is the issue here, so the solution would be to find a *cough cough* "No-CD" version of the game. Unfortunately, if the game uses any form of streamed Audio CD music, it'll be gone from the experience unless you find a modded executable that'll run mp3's instead, which isn't uncommon, but I'm not sure if such a patch exists for Exhumed/PowerSlave. In any case, good luck!
