Running Firefox 32bits on a 64bits machine, currently 11 tabs opening, some flash on them and the ram usage its quite stable:

I'm wondering why 32-bit app on a 64-bit OS; 32 -bit apps only can use 3.75 GB lol.

I think most people use Chrome or Firefox.

Chrome seems to be out in front. Firefox is used by roughly the same number of people that just use what came with their OS (IE+EDGE+Safari).

But it also use the memory up quicker as pointers take more space. If you don't need more than 4gb then you don't need to run a 64 bit application. Although 64 bit applications can run quicker, so on Linux there is a target with 64 bit applications with 32bit pointers.

opera is real nice now.

has built in vpn, built in adblock, addons, skins, speed dial and much more.

and better performance then chrome too.

:(

i do use firefox too some times. but the problem with firefox is that the dev can one day wake up and say fuck that feature and just remove it..

its like they have no road map what so ever. what ever goes.
Nothing is tethering me to just one browser. I can give Opera another chance.
