I have a question regarding NNID
if i purchase the DSiWare game, downgrade another 3DS with the system transfer method,
if i format that 3ds after i downgrade it to 9.2, can i link the NNID that i used in another 3DS to make the downgrade? Will it sill have the DSiWare that i purchased?

I have a question about Titled ID´s.
Is there any way to change them ???
Becuase i managed to get my dump of pokemon x to a cia.
But i want to install a romhack and it has the same title id .__.
Is there anyway to change them ?

Just joined the A9HL master race from gateway. Copied my saves from old gateway emunand firmware to Luma but non of them are recognised, any suggestions?

When you format the 3DS to unlink the NNID the account goes into standby until you log into that account again or you do a sysnand restore with that account being linked to it. Only way to send it over to another 3DS without doing a sysnand recovery is by doing a system transfer.

Didn't know that cias also had the same header. Was pretty sure they didn't but anyway no clue if you can even remove that header. Try looking into thr program that's used to change headers for .3ds/.3dz games.

Probably something to do with the way luma handles save files which isn't the same way as gateway's emunand from the looks of it

Okay, so since I want to do a system transfer from a no-CFW 3DS to a new 3DS WITH CFW, and I got confirmation that the CFW is not erased, I want to know what I should about the contents on the SD Card once the transfer is complete?

I downloaded Yoshi's New Island from the free shop, both versions. Both hang at the file select screen. Is this a known issue?
I am on LUMA 6.6.1 on a N3DS.

by chance, do you happen to have "New 3DS CPU" set to Clock/L2/Clock+L2? if so, try disabling it and see if it works then.

I did. Checked it and turned it to off or whatever. Still hangs. In the meantime I guess I'll try the other clock settings. Any other ideas?

Nice catch. I wouldn't have thought about the clock speed. I tried all of them, no difference.

Hey guys. How do I transfer my pokemon from my original cartridge X/Y to Pokemon Moon (freeshop cia).

Pokemon Bank doesn't boot up in classic mode and in Gateway mode it says in Pokemon Bank he didn't recognized the original X/Y cartridge.

So what is the most comfortable way to transfer Pokemon?

Hey guys currently doing the "HTTP 3ds guide" for A9LH + Luma3DS

I cannot run the Homebrew Launcher via MenuHax (Down on D-PAD option) now that I have downgraded my O3DS 9.4 to 9.2

Damn BrowserHax keeps crashing --- (http://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax_auto.php),

UPDATE: I can update it via Browser hax, was taking a few tries

--- Now that I have The homebrew Launcher, can anyone give me any advice on what homebrew I should get? Like the essential/common/best ones?

Could anyone offer me some assistance? I'm trying to update my r4i 3DS cart using a NDSL to work with a o3DS (A9LH + luma), but I keep getting a fail on the card check before the process begins. I haven't been able to find much info concerning this.. Thanks!

So how do we get them to work then? My save files aren't working either, and I don't know what to do. I just started playing Pokemon Moon and I'd like to eventually be able to use all of my pokemon from Alpha Sapphire ..

A question related to this: Is there a working save editor / something for Pokemon Moon so that I could add the Pokemon I lost, if I don't get to restore my saves, and would using those Pokemon be okay in online play (would give them base stats and not some ridiculous bs).

I remember browsing GBA temp earlier this year, and something gave me the idea of making custom 3DS cia of existing games with new sound effects on the home menu. For instance, I want to rip my Pokemon Y and make a .cia so that when I select the title on the home screen, it should play Yveltal's cry as the sound effect. Is this possible, or did I misread? I can't find the thread anymore, so I'm asking here.

Do Pokémon Sun/Moon and X/Y and ORAS save to the cartridge or the console?
A friend is going to send me his console to downgrade, and I wanted to check if he can use his cartridges again as normal, or if I need to backup stuff before formatting, or if I need to borrow the cartridges to backup stuff on them.

Idk why you're having problems with saves, but you can definitely use PKHeX to edit. I think I'm using the latest stable (7.0 maybe?)

Is this a serious question? Dude, you are too smart for this. If I bring my Super Mario N64 cartridge to your house, my save files are still there. This is a benefit to using cartridges. Darn kids growing up with disc based systems.

Your reply makes no sense, because all of the games on 3DS are cartridges, but only "card2" games save the save data onto the cartridge. Every other file is still saved into the SD card. Your reply would imply all of the games for 3DS have the save data within them, but this is simply false.

So @Quantumcat, from what I read the mentioned games all save onto the cartridge.

On a related note, my save data doesn't work because of the above lol; it doesn't exist. It was inside the .3ds file and I did not know this, and I deleted the roms after A9LH+Luma since there's no reason to keep using Gateway .. so eh, rip my Pokemon. PKHex here we come ..

Just installed the Japanese version of Animal Crossing: New Leaf on my 3DS (American, A9LH, New 3DS XL, latest firmware) and all it does it show the loading train and then shows "An error has occured, the system will now restart". How can I fix this?

How common are card1 games?

PKHeX is the way to go. I spent countless hours hatching in X/Y. I'm not really for editing to get hidden abilities or hack legendaries, but edit your Pokemon to get what you need now without wasting all that time playing a bicycle/Tauros simulator to hatch eggs all day.

Yes it is a serious question, I'm 30 and I grew up with the NES and SNES thank you very much. The location of save files is very ambiguous nowadays with on-console memory, plus memory on cartridges!
