If an exploit is found and it's in a 3rd party game, Nintendo really can't just pull it the second the exploit is found. Doing so would more than likely piss off the devs behind the game. So they need to update either the system or the game, in an attempt to fix the exploit. If the exploit is still not fixed, then they pull the game.

Ohhhhhh. So how long do things like this take?

Basically this.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
They need to know everything about the exploit and also work with the devs to fix the issue. Most likely the delays with the DSiWare downgrades is because it required so much effort to setup and paid games. Which really bought them some more time to push out updates to the system.

What are you talking about pirate fieldrunner and use it to get a legit copy? The game was only pulled from Europe. It's still in the US as far as I know.

Well, all the current dsiware games that the exploits use have been pulled apart from Legend of Exidia or something, apart from Japan. In the US/EU its still there according to bible guide.
I just tried looking for it. I didn't see it.
Bible guide?
