You simply change to a basic theme, then eject the SD and put it into your computer to open the Themes folder on the root of your SD card, and delete the theme's folder. It will no longer be selectable from CHMM2's menu.

Your themes folder should be outside the 3DS folder, on the root of the SD.
1- ok so i copy the files i want to keep then delete the themes folder ? or should i start over
2 -Also theres a bunch of new CHMM files that poped up on my root should i delete anything CHMM related ?
3- finally where does the theme install to ? because i cant locate it with Devmenu

Are you talking custom themes, or official themes? I assumed custom.

SD -> Themes -> [Name of theme folder] -> body_lz.bin, bgm.bcstm, icon.png, preview.png

That's how a typical custom theme gets loaded to the SD card for CHMM2 to load them. I believe when you choose to "install" a custom theme, it just does a temporary overwrite of a basic theme. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong here)

Hopefully this helps, it's how my theme folders are on my SD card:

yeah official themes, Oh okay so it just loads the folder no install ? because those are the files the offical themes comes with so changing to a basic theme is the same as removing it ?

Essentially, yes. I think they're just cached, not actually "installed" per-se.

ok so it worked but when i boot up CHMM2 again it says;
No themes recognized you must put themes in: /3ds/CHMM2/Themes/
should i still put it in root and scan for it ?

I suppose it's worth trying.
