Thank you @marc_max for updating for Chrome. Is it possible in the future to implement a way to edit or reset the first letter we sent to a villager? I remember writing dumb letters and now either the villagers prompt them to me from time to time or they prompt a letter not addressed to them because I edited the villagers via the editor.

You can delete the letter by talking to Isabelle.

Since RAM hacking dead, does anyone know of a reliable guide on how I can install homebrew?
I have OoT.

If you know someone with a modified console, you can just use their console to install oot3dhax in your OoT3D cart. You don't need to do the whole a9lh tutorial.

Hi, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this... but I'm having trouble downloading the update. I've been hacking my ACNL cartridge for about 1.5 years now on my 3DS with 9.4.0-21 firmware. I wanted to download the update on my updated N3DS XL, but every time I try, I get an error message saying to reinsert the cartridge! I haven't done anything crazy with my map, it has valid structure and everything. Does anyone know a solution to this? Or should I delete my town, update, and then inject my town's file? Any help is appreciated!

Hello! I have tried o inject the new garden.dat files into my game via the browserhax to homebrew method. I seem to have no luck when trying to use the scan image to take me directly to the website - which loads up homebrew. It seems that the website is down.


Is there another method that can be used to bring up homebrew via the internet without the yls8.mtheall link??

Please help I really want to be able to get a legit map in order to get the new update on my new 3DS

I have tried this website and it seems to successfully work! Except that my 3DS just flashes yellow, amber, green, yellow and sticks at yellow and seems to freeze. I may have old files from the ram injecting so I'll try again tomorrow - thank you for the good link though!

I'm having trouble moving buildings and PWPs. I enter the new coordinates then hit save changes, but they don't move. All of my other changes show up. Is there a step I'm missing or something I'm doing wrong? I'm not trying to place them anywhere weird like in the river or anything, I just need a few things to move over a few acres for landscaping purposes.I've been able to move buildings before, so I'm not sure what's wrong.
Can anyone help with this? Or help edit the buildings in my garden_plus.dat for me?

I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but I can't seem to place or remove items on the map properly. When I left click a space on the map to place something down, more often than not it won't work. There are certain spaces where it does work, but most of them do not go through no matter how many times I click. Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a fix for it?

Would it be possible to add and remove items from the catalog? I got a exotic wallpaper that shows up as "???". Also, I have the normal exotic wallpaper already in my catalog just fine.

I put in Holden's RV, but whenever I talk to him, the option to move into my town doesn't come up. The only way I can get him in is to edit him into my town directly. Is that supposed to happen?

Yupp! He's not supposed to be able to move-in, so you will have to hack him in. I did the same thing.

set your time closer to christmas. It's not something the save editor can do, I'm pretty sure.

It's really not all that hard to get your approval rating up. I can do it in 2 in game days. I have heard others can do it in one, but I can never get faster than 2

-Talk to Isabelle and do all her (I forget what they're called) getting started quests
-change your flag
-Write on the notice board
-Donate to the Museum
-Buy and sell at all shops
-Change your town tune
-Pay off your loan/tent
-Talk to your villagers and fulfill tasks
-Water flowers (Isabelle will give you a watering can if you complete her tasks)

Sup, I got one problem... I was editing the Acres on the Island and accidently edited one of the boarder ones. I wasn't able to find the acre to put back into it so I tried acre 169, but that did not work. I loaded up my second games data and found out the acre I need is 175 but it doesn't seem to have it as an option, doing some further searching I found that acre 176 isn't included either. I cannot play my game until this is fixed so what should I do?

*please keep in mind this is my first time EVER hacking

So, i just got oot3dhax using the powersaves method; i am on 11.2.0-35U amiibo update. It launches the homebrew screen fine, but i am getting the missing target error. On top of that, my save manager will not work. it just stops on a yellow screen.. how can i access the save editor?

i am probably missing something obvious but yeah lol. im desperate to hack my town

Is anyone else having issues w the town editor being kind of slow? Like for example, I'll go to place like ten flowers in a row but it'll lag and when I click on the square I want the flower, it'll take like ten clicks to get it to respond again. Is it just me? I'm using Chrome
EDIT: started using microsoft edge, works a little faster w better response time!
