Im on a9lh and Luma, havnt updated in awhile but im scared to update it?

Also is it safe to play pokemon sun/moon? I just downloaded it and i want to play with ouy getting banned :/

Yes it is safe to update, yes it is safe to play Pokemon Sun and Moon and yes you can go online if you reside in Japan or America, if you live in Europe, the U.K. or Australia you need to wait until the 23rd to go online
