You should argue the same to python.org for releasing a tool that lets noobs 'shoot themselves' without compiling.

all the print commands are missing parentheses

They're missing parenthesis because the GUI was designed with Python 2.7 in mind.

Python 2.7 does not require parenthesis for the print command, only quotes.
Python 3 requires parenthesis and quotes for the print command.

Are you using Python 2.7 or Python 3?

Thank you for trying to make peace in this.

First of all, this mod didn't discredit the original, I won't call it steal, I didn't read the code it might as well be decent, It's just the idea of this mod I'm against.

And I'm not fighting these two over this. It's just a hobby.

That is true of everything in this forum. I don't consider this noteworthy in that regard. Developments with greater potential for causing harm, e.g. Coldboothax, have been discussed here without bringing ire.

Plus, the OP, which doesn't say that it was edited recently, already has a disclaimer.

My comment in defense of the development of the script is not an endorsement of the code. I have no use for it myself, as I am quite comfortable with terminal execution.

What I object to is anyone deciding that what they do is technically adequate and suitable, while also determining that someone else's development should not even exist. If anyone doesn't like something, they don't have to use it. That's pretty simple.

However, print uses a string literal for your message, though. print("Hello World!")
Therefore, you can sum everything up by saying "Print needs quotes" rather then "Print needs parenthesis and a string literal".

Believe it or not, not everyone in this universe wants to become fluent in Python and know all of the proper terms. They just want to hack their Wii U.

Well said I have zero knowledge of python but with this mod I easily region freed my WiiU this tool could not be any easier to use for a person like myself that had zero knowledge of python so I'm sending a huge thanks to the Dev of this tool.
