youd want hard modders to this id asume to rehack it if things go south

system formats cannot change firm0 and firm1. only hax and system updates can (or nintendo directly via repair process). i have formatted with a9lh with no issues. but if it makes everyone safer to check with hardmods, ok.

Yeah, system transfer is what generated the new seed. I'm wondering if it's a transfer to a new DS or from an old one that generates it.

Doubt it's that simple... Sys transfers go through ninty servers, so it's likely they're server that hands out new movable.sed unless proven otherwise.

system formatting via tinyformat also changed the movable.sed. that does not connect to nintendo servers
