"CDecrypt to decrypt/extract from NUS downloads with NUS title key(extracted from ticket). however WUD dump needs special hardware from what I've heard."

yes, pm me, or report the post.
(don't PM me, I'm here now :P)

I don't think I'll sticky it (we already have a lot), but also because there are some mistakes (mainly chronological mistakes).
that's nice to write it, and I know it takes a lot of time to do, but if you want to make a hacking progress, I may send you a PM.
I would like to make a hacking progress on the wiki, with major advancement and releases. I have lot of info since January 2015 (I wish to add previous one too), but miss a good write up. (miss time to write it and make a nice page). I already contacted someone else to work together, if you are willing to help, let me know.
I wish to make a more chronological page (like the last link on your first post), instead of "current possibilities". maybe that's not what you want.

Yes I'm an outsider of the Wii U hacking scene, so I'm not the person to write what you're suggesting, if you think my writing is worth a bit, I'm more than glad to help if you need any.

And Yes, my title/wording is horrible, English is not my native language, "current possibilities" is more like what I'm doing, more user oriented. but I can't edit titles, I'd appreciated it if you can do that for me.

ah, don't worry, I didn't mean your title was wrong.
I just wasn't sure if you wanted to make a chronological information, or a current situation information.

so, it's fine. it will help users to know what choices they have right now.
I guess if that's the purpose of this thread, it could be stickied to help user know their possibilities.

Maybe someone could help you with english? you can give edit access to your first post to any user who want to help you. (preferably someone who followed the WiiU hacking this past months)

I could stick it with another title, and better presentation and information.

For example, proper section (not "=====" to make underline or chapters, etc.)

if you want, you can use [ h] that to make a blue line, with font size 4 or 5

Example size=4

Also, I think you used too many bold text, and it's defeating the purpose of making it more important, because too many things are like that making it just "like everything else".

I updated it a bit. bold is used when a new term comes up or summarize of the paragraph, I think it's reasonable.

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Hope you've had a good morning.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

    How are you doing?

There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
