They bricked from installing coldbrickhax. The worst that can happen installing haxchi is your ds vc won't run anymore.

Fair enough, and HBL would be "permanent" on the SysNAND? I hear that RPX support for apps will be a part of HBL soon, so bigger RA cores will be able to load, so that's cool :P

I'm having problemns running Neo Geo. Aways receiving Exception code DSI error when trying to run a game. Do it need to be in a specific folder with a specific name?

After installing haxchi it is their forever. Just load the ds Vc

Try a different build. Neo Geo has been weird with the nightlies

Just tested the latest build and everything i've tried has worked (including the new snes9x core) @the_randomizer ;)

The nestopia core now works too but the screen is.. broken.

Oh wow, Snes9x mainline works? :P Nestopia, how do you mean "broken"? Aspect ratio issues?

Its hard to explain but basically the screen is magnified, the colours off and theres vertical lines on screen. :(

The snes9x core is much more efficient than the snes2010, rewind works without crippling emulation speed :)

Nestopia is only just barely working, I'm sure there's some kind of bug that needs looking into, try messing with integer scale, aspect ratio, etc? IDK XD

Edit: Ooh, Snes9x mainline is also more accurate, as Snes9x Next/2010 uses some speed hacks to get full speed on lower-end devices (Wii, PSP, etc), gonna try this out :P

INteger scale maybe?
Possible but I didn't mess with any settings before testing and I'm away from the wiiu to check.
But overall I would say this is the build to get so far :) (although I think there has been a new build since that I haven't tried)

Any newer version of Snes9x will be more accurate by default. This is only useful for certain games since it already runs 100%, the good thing is that there are various choices now for some specific problematic games (LOBO comes to mind)

Does everything mean every core? Some specificity would help other testers, since it becomes very bothersome to crash the console and boot up another emulator through the browser exploit. Let's give a try, then.

Can confirm Snes9x 1.53 mainline core works perfectly in latest nightly build, so it's up and running. Snes9x 1.53 runs a helluva lot better than it ever did on Wii, that is definite, the Wii U is pretty powerful for emulation.

The other problem with Snes9x Next is that sacrifices made caused weird glitches in games like FF6, the menus in shops would have solid colors and no gradients and the intro Mode 7 scene had missing color banding.

Well I tried both PCE cores with the Rondo of Blood bin/cue translation but I get DSI exceptions with both.
However, Mednafen VB now works!
Hot sexy Mario Clash in 60fps 1080p mofos!

People should move to the new HBL release with his lastest mp4 exploit or update haxchi to test later nightlies.

Still on the fence about Haxchi, well, not on the fence, still haven't spent money for an exploitable game yet. Is there a link or thread to the new HBL anywhere by chance? Does it break anything from previous versions?

Links to this would be greatly appreciated, since I don't have Haxchi set up yet.

Brain Age was free on my system; just downloaded like I already paid for it.

Doesn't break anything if you don't use the channel version. You can find it on its github as well for the mp4 file.

Unfortunately, we in the US weren't so lucky with free games. Just trying to figure out where this elusive new HBL is available, as no threads have made mention of it. I know Haxchi is safe because the worst that can happen is ruining the DS VC game, I can just redownload it :P That being said, do you know where any info about this new RPX-loading HBL is? I can't see any info about it.

I don't remember who made it or whose GitHub it's on, could you provide a link? Was it on Dimok's version? *sigh* Sorry, I just hope that Haxchi isn't required for this, can't install it yet.

Edit: Never mind, found it

https://github.com/dimok789/homebrew_launcher/releases

Unfortunately, online sites will have to have their MP4s updated.
