Or you can use VBA on vwii, i mean least for now i guess, is better than nothing. ^_^

There is a emulator that does work with wii u pro controllers so i mean a plus one on that part.
mGBA on vWii is much better for GBA, no frameskip issues.
MGBA from Retroarch WiiU works really well.

This, full speed for every single game :P

It really sucks, I can't edit buttons, I can't speed toggle, it's constantly crashes, I have to navigate to the folder everytime, cause if I search it crashes, if I load certain games it crashes. .
Dude relax. This is not the emulator's fault. The Retroarch port is still early, bugs and missing features are likely to happen. Other than that, the core itself works beautifully with everything I tried.

Was not planning to do vWii hack lol I really do miss the Wii gba emulator it ran so oerfect
Well if you own a copy of one of the most popular and easy to find games (Super smash bros brawl) And a 2GB or less sd card, you simply install homebrew channel and that about it, completly 100% safe and you set for life, most all emulators now can use wii u pro controller or even ps3/ps4 controllers or some 3 party hid device.

mGBA on vWii is much better for GBA, no frameskip issues.

But does it work with Wii u pro controller or ps3 or other HID controllers? :creep:

At the time being, no, but that will come along in due time, these are pre-alpha builds; FWIW, they run buttery smooth and have high compatibility.

Well the fact it also sucks on 3ds and vita means it's still going to suck on wii u, I mentioned in my post I already had it and was looking for something better so idk why you bothered to reply for me to get mgba

It is not. It sucks on these consoles because they don't have enough power to emulate the GBA properly without slowdowns. Everything runs in fullspeed on Wii U.

I bothered to reply because I personally used Retroarch mGBA and it works perfectly fine for me :) Therefore, it is not garbage.

Okay i feel ya, respected, still i mean the other 4 emulators (FCEUX SNES9X VBA and Genesis plus) all use high compatibility, custom button layouts, online servers to connect to when set up properly can get your roms from PC using SMB samba, have cheat support, other preripheils support (NES ZAPPER) and oh wait more controllers, like wii u pro and ps3 and other HID.:creep:

But yeah being honest the VBA do have frame rate issues in some GBA games, even won't frame skip when you want to.:glare:

I just wondered why no one has updated them in so long? Abonded project?

So your telling me neither the vita or 3ds has more ram or processing power then the gba. . Seeing how the psp can emulate gba perfectly with gpsp it proves to me Retroarch is garbage. .

I think the GBA loadiine rom injections are complicated, unless a program is made like for the 3ds rom injections, but i honestly think you be better off with any emulator on Vwii.

Did you mention a vita as in homebrew? You should probably look into trying to install a emulator called GPSP Kai, is a GBA emulator i use on my original psp that was very impressive, i used to play it all the time even plugged it into my TV with the horridble TV cable adaptor, if you have henkaku or some way to use homebrew on vita or PSP you should definately try it. :)

GPSP is using a dynarec core to achieve fullspeed emulation. It's also heavily optimised for the platform.
(edit) and GPSP is not always fullspeed. Many games suffer from framskipping and slowdowns.
Anyway, this is not the point here. You asked what is the best, we already answered you: mGBA from Retroarch. You agree or not, this is currently the best on Wii U.

Way to disrespect the work others have done to make Wii U emulators possible, give it time, things will be able to be edited, the thing was barely released a week ago, if that.

VBA GX relies on frameskipping and speed hacks, games suffer from this; mGBA focuses on speed and accuracy, higher compatibility, beggars can't be choosers; either use mGBA on vWii or wait till RetroArch Wii U matures.
