That was fast!!!Here is what a generic bootMovie could look like.
Please excuse the resolution. I make them in 1024x512 and downsample them to the delivery format.

I have the same problem.@dimok I cloned the latest commit of dimok789/homebrew_launcher/homebrew_launcher_rpx (d0e457c) and the latest of dimok789/wut/master (212d461).
I am able to compile the homebrew_launcher, however I am not able to convert the elf to an rpx.
I get the following error: Could not find matching symbol for relocation
Note that the conversion to rpx works with the wut samples.
Any suggestions ?

You need to install dimoks new portlibs and libogc use the original repo for wutI have the same problem.
If someone can please explain what needs to be installed into a brand new fresh install of devkitpro 1.6.0 that would be nice
We would need to know which flavor of which libs are being used - there are so many different versions of wut/glm/mad.h and portlibs on github it's crazy
It seems there's a magic combination that will get this to compile completely - we just need to know the ingredients to the formula (in detail)
Great stuff! Thank you for all your work. Maschell tried to include your boot videos but it seems the encoding is not quite right. Can you give us the original source of video that you made? Here is what a generic bootMovie could look like.

Now that i can work with. Double check that you really downloaded this file: https://github.com/dimok789/homebrew_launcher/releases/download/v1.3/portlibs.zipThanks for the suggestion, but I tried that too.
#1 - Installed devkitProUpdater-1.6.0.exe and selected FULL INSTALL
#2 - Opened up a GIT Shell PowerShell
#3 - in the GitShell, I change to the /devkitpro directory and typed git clone --recursive -b homebrew_launcher_rpx https://github.com/dimok789/homebrew_launcher.git
#4 - in the GitShell I then typed git clone --recursive https://github.com/decaf-emu/wut
#5 - in a dos shell I changed to the /devkitpro/wut directory and typed: make-tools.bat (it completed with zero errors)
#6 - in a dos shell I then typed make install (it completed with zero errors)
#7 - made sure WUT_ROOT= environment was pointing to my devkitpro/wut folder
#7 - in an internet browser, I downloaded libogc and portlibs from here: https://github.com/dimok789/homebrew_launcher
#8 - extracted libogc and portlib into the root of my devkitpro folder, overwriting any conflicts
#9 - dos shell changed to the /devkitPro/homebrew_launcher folder and typed make
Starts to compile - then gets a missing mad.h error
Code:M:\devkitPro\homebrew_launcher>make entry.c kernel_hooks.S linking ... sd_loader.elf Application.cpp main.cpp CFile.cpp DirList.cpp FreeTypeGX.cpp GuiButton.cpp GuiElement.cpp GuiFrame.cpp GuiImage.cpp GuiImageAsync.cpp GuiImageData.cpp GuiParticleImage.cpp GuiSound.cpp GuiText.cpp GuiTrigger.cpp HomebrewLaunchWindow.cpp HomebrewLoader.cpp HomebrewWindow.cpp MainWindow.cpp ProgressWindow.cpp TcpReceiver.cpp Resources.cpp BufferCircle.cpp Mp3Decoder.cpp In file included from m:/devkitPro/homebrew_launcher/src/sounds/Mp3Decoder.cpp:33:0: m:/devkitPro/homebrew_launcher/src/sounds/Mp3Decoder.hpp:26:17: fatal error: mad.h: No such file or directory #include <mad.h> ^ compilation terminated. make[1]: *** [Mp3Decoder.o] Error 1 make: *** [build] Error 2 M:\devkitPro\homebrew_launcher>
So what are the missing step(s)??
Try what dimok said then if that doesn't work move homebrew launcher out of the dev kit pro directoryThanks for the suggestion, but I tried that too.

Great stuff! Thank you for all your work. Maschell tried to include your boot videos but it seems the encoding is not quite right. Can you give us the original source of video that you made?
Also here is a video of your work in action that Maschell captured.

You can install it through a patched fw.img and launch it through that but it will not launch without a patched fw.img.Wait, we can install HBL on SysNAND without using the CFW launcher?![]()
OK, that fixed it!!!!!Now that i can work with. Double check that you really downloaded this file: https://github.com/dimok789/homebrew_launcher/releases/download/v1.3/portlibs.zip
The older version will not work! Extracting it to root of DEVKITPRO folder is correct. Check if there is a mad.h in $(DEVKITPRO)/portlibs/ppc/include path.
...And that probably means installing the IOSU hack... Yikes. You can install it through a patched fw.img and launch it through that but it will not launch without a patched fw.img.

Ah crap. Thanks for pointing at that. I will change the hyperlink in the readme later.OK, that fixed it!!!!!
I was using the portlibs hyperlinked in the readme.md at https://github.com/dimok789/homebrew_launcher
Thanks so much for your help!
Fair enough, I do have a fw.img that I compiled from Fix94's tutorial, though I don't have any way to ensure that it has the right SHA-1, CRC32, etc, so I don't know if it's actually the right one for me to use. I need to verify the hashes somehow before I use it, I'm afraid of bricking my Wii U. So is that the tutorial on how to do it above?
This means that we have to install the IOSU hack, which is risky methinks. Hopefully there'll be a day we don't need to load CFW for this.
Wow i like so much the TV image but the icon and DRC images are broken, or my pc open they badlyI've also tried to make some images. They are not that perfect but I thought I could share them.
Seriously, I do not know what I am doing wrong.
I got the proper libogc, portlibs.
I tried with the wut from decaf-emu and the one from @dimok
I compiled tools within Visual Studio, tried x86 / x64 (i do not have msbuild install for the .sh)
homebrew_launcher compile properly, however still have the Could not find matching symbol for relocation. Also tried with homebrew_launcher directory on /d/homebrew_launcher to have it out of devkitPro.
If someone want to share a compiled .elf that can be converted into a rpx, I would be graceful.
