I updated my 3ds to 11.1.0.34E awhile back and only today noticed it has caused a few issues with my A9LH, which i just updated followin this guide: https://plailect.github.io/Guide/updating-a9lh (got up to the FBI part which doesnt show .bin files?...)

Luma3DS doesnt find the payload and doesnt update, causing it to close, and my Homebrew launcher no long runs, ontop of that all my custom themes seem to have disappeared except one?
Can someone please direct me on how to fix these issues, that would be great, thankyou.

I'm thinking of getting a n3ds from black friday, so some questions:

Is it able to be downgraded and have permanent custom firmware installed to it? I have an o3ds XL if it matters. Obvious no one knows what firmware it will ship with but I don't know how effective our downgrade abilities are these days.

Also, is there anything a hacked O3ds can do that a N3ds can't do?

If your o3ds already has CFW you can use it to hack the n3ds, even if it comes with the latest firm. That's what I did when I got my new galaxy style n3ds

Edit: and if you do a9lh that's basically permanent cfw loading

I haven't touched my 3DS in months: it's on A9LH v2 with Luma3DS v5.5.7 (I think)
- What's the difference between A9LH v2 and v3?
- Anything I should be aware of before updating A9LH, Luma or the system?
- Did the new firmware updates (11.x) do anything?

there is no A9LHv3. The version is used to distinguish which version of SafeA9LHInstaller is to be used. At the moment, A9LHv2 supports CTRNAND Luma3DS, aka full Luma running from NAND.

(I copied and pasted this from another thread I posted on, just to save time.)

Following these, it says my files are good to be downgraded via SafeSysUpdater.
I go to downgrade my system on the PlaiSysUpdater - but I get the following error.

"Checking for am:u...
Did not get am:u handle!
Attempting svchax..."

It's frozen so many times.

I've gotten all my files from the proper places, and I don't know what's wrong.

So I was thinkin about if it's possible to run to godmode9 wit powersave. any suggestions?
No, Powersaves only saves or restores saves from CARTs (not all of them).
For you to run Godmode9, you MUST HAVE A9LH installed.

If you were following "The Guide" you would know that you have to use SysDowngrader and NOT SafeSysUpdater NOR PlaiSysUpdater:

This is the only guide you should use: https://plailect.github.io/Guide/homebrew-launcher-(browser)

Yeah, I've tried that guide, cravas.

The reason I resorted to SafeSys/PlaiSys is because I get the same errors with the SysDowngrader and I don't know what to do from there.

"Checking for am:u...
Did not get am:u handle!
Attempting svchax..."

How can I fix this issue, though? This is my second night up trying to hack in.

How are you launching the Sysdowngrader? Through Browserhax or did you installed Menuhax?

Browserhax site is down for a few days (and will be for the next couple of weeks) so try some mirrors (search gbatemp for "browserhax mirrors" )

Also take notice of the Time/Date trick on your version.

OR try the no-browser version (with a primary CART entrypoint; only Freakyforms or Cubic Ninja)
