Way too many DSI EXCEPTION ERRORS upon loading known good roms. I'll wait for alternatives. And once a rom is loaded, how do we get back to the menu? I've tied every button combination.

Try the TV button on the Wii U pad, and keep in mind, this is still pre-release, alpha, there will be bugs

Change it in input settings, or touch the screen.

Oooh now I know XD Also, I think my ROM directory has too many files in it, may need to make a new one as it takes a while to access it, which is normal for this stage.

Okay, got that sorted... Now how do I get sound? None of the retroarch emus have sound coming from them. The options state that the audio is enabled.

I got them from the store, with default settings enabled.

Then I don't know what to tell you, Snes9x has sound on my end *shrug*

They have to be in wiiu/apps/Snes9x2010 with the elf file, etc. There is sound, everyone else is getting sound, I don't know how or why you don't get sound. >.>

Have you tried other cores besides Snes9x for the sound?
Like Prboom, tyrquake, Fceumm, Gambattle, etc?
