Hey,

this was posted a few hours ago:

Looks awesome already, hope there'll be a first release soon(tm) ;)

Just wanted to post this, so everybody knows there are great things to come ;)

Do you know if there is a preview/test build of this available?

Really good news (is that Quarktheawesome's work?).

However I really wish they soon find a method to permanently install titles in WiiU without the need of launching the exploit.

So the cores are all gonna be separate like the 3DS?

Let's just hope they don't all share the same config again...

Maybe at the beginning, but I think there will be a one-in-all app later on. Just look at 3DS: Recently @aliaspider added a retroarch.cia which can be used to start all cores and switch between them. No need to start every core seperately anymore. I think something like that'll be the goal for WiiU as well, but not immediately.

To be honest if Retroarch could be loaded from home menu someday I would assume this could make use of the .rpl format for cores while the main executable stays in the .rpx

To get audio you have to go into options->drivers and set the audio driver to AX though it doesnt seem to work perfectly yet, but hey at least it runs so thats fantastic, already excited to see it all auto-compiled up on the nightly servers :)
