That's awesome!Just gave it a shot and while its obviously not perfect yet it runs pretty well, heres a build with snes9x 2010 for you to check out I just compiled.

To get audio you have to go into options->drivers and set the audio driver to AX though it doesnt seem to work perfectly yet, but hey at least it runs so thats fantastic, already excited to see it all auto-compiled up on the nightly servers![]()

Awesome. Thanks. Have you tried any of the heavier Cores. Mame or CPS2?
Me too, I'd like this to be the definitive version of Retroarch on consoleYeah there are still some audio issues - right now for instance I can only hear sound coming out of the left speaker/channel instead of both. Anyway, it's pre-release commits so what you see is what you get.

I'd be terribly disappointed if we can't at least eventually run all CPS3 and Neo Geo ROMs this time around. RAM should no longer be an issue and CPU performance should be at least equal to PS3/360 I hope.
@LibretroRetroArc Does this use any other input then the gamepad or only the gamepad right now?
PS1 and Dreamcast might be feasible, but don't expect N64 on the initial release:Me too, I'd like this to be the definitive version of Retroarch on consoleI have a 360/PS3/Wii with Retroarch on all but this is the first Console where I think Dreamcast PSP PS1 and fullspeed N64 maybe (hopefully) possible.
hunterk said:There are some significant roadblocks to fullspeed n64 emulation on wiiu, namely a GL-to-GX2 wrapper and a PPC dynarec. That's not to say it won't happen, just don't expect it tomorrow.

Just the gamepad I believe. Keep in mind it isn't even supposed to be released yet so no requests yet, we are literally just developing as we go along.
Would it be possible to use the Dynarec from wii64/not64? or is it not open source?PS1 and Dreamcast might be feasible, but don't expect N64 on the initial release:

The PPC Dynarec is the most important part, without it we might not see a Mupen64 core on Wii U :/
It's the same reason why we didn't see one for the Wii.
You mean the dynarecs from Not64/WiiSX?I'd like to look eventually into backporting those PowerPC dynarecs from the Wii/GC versions back to the current mainline versions of Mupen64plus/Reicast (nulldc v2 essentially)/PCSX-R/etc. It also helps that I still have a few PowerPC Macs on which debugging this stuff would be far more tolerable than say a game console.

How dare youReally nice work. I hope cores for NES, GBA, and other consoles (maybe even N64....) will come about for Wii U. Not really fond of the snes but it's a start.
