Can I play 3ds or cia files yet on my HB 3DS XL 11.0.0-33U? I homebrewed it back at the begining of Aug. Its set where I can start it and go directly to the homebrew but I dont know what changes have happened in the last 3 months. I havent touched it since Aug. Do I still have to downgrade to get it to play cia or 3ds files? Any answer will help. Thank you.

Yeah. Because it is updated past 10.7 you will need to dsi downgrade(another hacked console) or hardmod.

Also I have an old acekard but it doesnt seem to work with 11.0

Nope, still needs a downgrade or a newer flashcard. Or at least a way to install the earlier whitelist, but I'm not sure if that's possible on 11.0 without CFW
