Hacking [Solved] Unable to dump NAND

So you didn't format it in Fat32 format? You need it to be Fat32
The SD is actually formatted in FAT32, as can be seen below.
Windows Explorer just doesn't show me the format of the partition for any drive when viewed from "This PC".

Yeah, I tried that already but I'm stuck at "Choose cfw booter and then go to your Wii U console and just tap the power button (You cannot hit the gamepad power button) it'll format your sd card and dump your nand to it, be patient." due to a reason that's being actively discussed in this thread.

Hmm When I was compiling I think I moved some files from the fix94iosu branch to dimokiosu. I believe you need to move over gensections.py or getfwimg.py

I can certainly try that.

Why did you decide to move said files though?
Have you experienced problems with the compiled fw.img without your modifications?

If you follow this guide http://gbatemp.net/threads/building-iosuhax-on-windows.447023/ you don't need to transfer over files. If you followed an older guide Dimok's build didn't have a few files - so it was necessary to get them from another build.

I think you set everything up right. I would try with another SD card and see what happens.

Alright then, I got the very same error again after swapping these two files anyway.

Since it's getting rather late here in Switzerland (currently 00:06AM), I am going to suspend any further attempts at getting this damn thing to work until tomorrow.

Next time I'll try it with a SDHC SD though, just to be completely safe as that format seems to be officially supported. Nevermind that, SDHC only supports up to 32GB, which would make dumping the NAND from a black WiiU impossible.

Many thanks to all of you who have answered and tried to help so far!

GREAT NEWS guys!

Finally I've got this whole thing to work, and guess what was the cause of all my frustrations? The SD Card.

I've picked up a SanDisk UHC-1 64GB microSD at the electronics store this time and was pleasantly surprised, while sweating I might add, that the NAND dumper was finally willing to format and dump everything onto the SD card.

My problem can therefore now be considered as solved.

Again, many thanks to all of you!
