Hacking How Do I install DLC with redNAND?

I just got redNAND installed....however, I'm having problems with DLC.....I get the following error:

Error: MCP_InstallGetInfo 0xFFFBF3E2
Confirm complete WUP files are in the folder. Try power down.

I downloaded with FunkiiU yesterday with the latest version.

If I am missing something, please let me know. I looked at the guides on here to install DLC and I followed them the best I could and still getting errors, so please don't link me to the guide because I already used it...something must be missing or i'm missing something.

Are your files in the SD:/install folder? Are they in .h3 and .app?

Have you installed other games/dlc succesfully? It seems like you're missing some game file. Maybe try redownloading the files.

I've not installed anything with redNAND yet...that was the first thing I tried because its really all I care about right now.....but i'll download again and see how that goes...

Okay, I think I may have found the problem....I had it in SD:/install/Mario Kart 8 DLC/[title ID folder]/files...so i'm going to try to move the files to SD:/install/Mario Kart 8/files (god it's been a LONG day!!)

Nope....still not working..even after redownloading the DLC.....same error.....and its SD:/install/MarioKart 8/Files

That's the problem.
It should be: SD:/install/[files] -> if you want to install only 1 title.

okay, i'll try that.....however, before I do...do I use the .tik file that FunkiiU generated or do I need to use the .tik that I downloaded from "that iso site"...I have tried both and got the same issue....

I think with rednand it doesn't matter(thats one of the main reason of having rednand), but don't take my word for this one...

okay....just noticed I am missing some files on my previous attempt....so....downloading Mario Kart 8 DLC for the 4th time.....and about the 10th attempt to install....I think i'd have a better chance of begging someone to buy the DLC for me at this rate LOL

Use nusgrabber to download the dlc, after download the dlc using funky with -onlinekeys. Grab the .tik that funky makes put it in the same folder as the dlc you downloaded from nusgrabber and install. This is what I done and worked. Funky never downloaded the dlc correctly for me.

Okay, FINALLY getting it to actually install....WOW...that was CRAZY......now I know..just put the files in the "install" folder....don't worry about other folders....even in Wupinstaller Y....less of a pain in the butt....and DLC is installed for Mario Kart 8! WHOO-HOO!!!

With what did u download the dlc and with what did u grab the tik file?

I used FunkiiU to download the DLC...and with redNAND, you can use the tik file that is generated by FunkiiU. All you need is the title ID for the DLC of the game...
