I saw it now. Your home menu is very much broken. Sadly Im not experienced enough to assisst you to recover that(Notwithout risks at least)

What I'm thinking is going the route of sysupdater, but there are so many different versions now... I wouldn't know where to start. Seems fixable because only the homemenu is broken. But other than that...
What I strongly advice you is NOT to install system firmware titles from FBI.

Its because you need the home menu to load this. All apps/games runs on the background of the home menu.

Edit: I dont get its why the fbi loads at all and only it.
My guess is that it only loads because it's the first title on his list, luckily its this and not an useless game. If it was a game i'd know no way of fixing this.
Another question, do you have a nand backup from before you did a9lh? or did the people that did the downgrade not give you any of these files?

do you know some fix? anyway to the risk i dont care.

I cant assure you its gonna work. but if you have a9lh you can: Decrypt9 -> make backup. DEcrypt9 -> load another backup(frm a time where your home menu was working). Then test it.

IF you dont have backup, than it would need to search for the home menu title, download it, put on sd card, delete home menu tittle and re-install it. Note that after you delete your ohme menu you CANT TURN IT OFF or it will brick the next time you try to turn it on. You must reinstall it without rebooting the system. Anyway I cant tell for sure if eihter is gona be safe or its gona work.

But not through FBI, that why I suggested sysupdater. but i don't know which version is the safest to use.
Before doing anything, please ask in the links i provided. there are people way more adequate to help you solve this at those threads. It's the safest.
He has no backups, so he can't revert to an older one.

So this makes me think. Can I set up an emunand on a small card, downgrade it with hombrew, and dump the otp? That way I can just put the first card back in without ever touching the SysNand and tuck the small card away with otp and Nand for safe keeping. For N3DS with OTPless A9LH.

That doesnt help much, but works as a safe net maybe. Anyway the best you can do is to search some advanced help.

He has no other options for managing tittles. I think Sysupdater will not Change his home menu because its already the correct title, he is already on 9.2.

Doesnt work. OTP needs permissions that are granted only during on boot, emunand can not load at this time.

Remember when people used to get frankenfirms and they had to run sysdowngrader twice?
I don't know if this can also be done for sysupdater and re-installing the same version.

LOL, did you delete the 9.2 backups created as part of plailect guide?

When you finished the A9LH guide you should have had 2 backups:
1) Pre A9LH install 9.2
2) Post A9LH install 11.2

Did you delete the 9.2??? Just use that to re-flash, that should be the last working NAND you have.
lol no, i have hacked a bunch of 3DS'es and i lost track of which nandmin belongs to which 3DS. so i remade the backups and labeled them in folders

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.

It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.

Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
