Hacking Downgrade 3ds with arm9loaderhax

I would flash sysnand to emunand, downgrade emunand, and then flash emunand to sysnand

I was having a conversation with someone earlier about this, he said even this method is risky because it hasn't been tested.

you could always try a CTRNAND transfer.

why would you need to downgrade on a9lh anyway?

Why would you want to do this? Restore a nand dump from before you had a9lh (if you made any in 9.2 or something), choose the option to SYSNAND restore (keep a9lh) from hourglass9.
I believe the normal way of downgrading doesn't work once you have a9lh, if you try the dsiware method, you will not only uninstall a9lh, but brick as well. You'd write garbage to firm0/1.
Not sure if a CTR transfer works and keeps a9lh.

because my new 3ds has a problem with touch and buttons.

i got after a9lh, because in the store they upgrade badly the firmware

Just wondering, was this 3ds downgraded via hardmod? If so, it's possible they screwed some things up in your motherboard, no downgrade would fix this.

How is downgrading your firmware going to fix your hardware problems?

If the 3ds was wrongly hardmodded, they might have broken some stuff.

but why only works in fbi, in fbi the buttons and the touch works perfect and no, no hardmod in the process.

I understand that that might be the case, but still. Downgrading the firmware will not fix the hardware problems.

for the record, I've used plaisysupdater to downgrade my two A9LH 11.1 New 3DS' back to 9.2 because I wanted a 9.2 NAND backup for them. then upgraded them back to 11.1.

AFAIK, luma3ds re-enables svchax, disables the hardcoded minimum title list which helps you downgrade again, i'm not sure if it enables memchunkhax2.1 as well.

LOL, did you delete the 9.2 backups created as part of plailect guide?

Its possible to downgrade a 3ds with arm9loaderhax installed?

When you finished the A9LH guide you should have had 2 backups:
1) Pre A9LH install 9.2
2) Post A9LH install 11.2

Did you delete the 9.2??? Just use that to re-flash, that should be the last working NAND you have.

memchunkhax2.1 = svchax, I think. Both are arm11 kernel exploits but work on different firmwares.

Yes, but I'm unsure of how it works, I know that svchax re-enables svc_backdoor function, what i'm not sure of is if this function is renabled to be able to use memchunkhax2.1 past 10.4, because i think mch2.1 got patched after 10.3.

I think I heard this somewhere (and partially guessing from the name)

memchunkhax2.1 rewrites memory to allows for arm11 kernel
svchax uses svc_Backdoor which allows for arm11 kernel

i tried with ctr transfer but stills buttons and touch not working. also in decrypt9wip is working all the buttons.
