Hacking Concerns about Arm9LoaderHax

Hi, I have a question:
If I downgrade my 3DS and get Arm9LoaderHax, will I be able to keep all of my downloaded games?
I don't want to download cias of those games because I want to keep the legitimacy of those purchases.

I'm not on emunand, I've been on a pretty much stock 11.0 3DS. I heard that there was someone working on a way to get the fieldrunners exploit on an 11.0 3ds though and I wanted to know in preparation for the downgrade, if it were to come.

after you setup sysnand a9lh, you can update your system and download your games if they were deleted by accident. (under normal circumstances the games won't be deleted)

Yikes! you need to hardmod or use Dsiwarehax to downgrade.

I edited the post shortly after I made it, but I heard there's gonna be a way to get the DSiWarehax exploit on arm11 kernel and I'm waiting on that.

It feels better to redownload your payed for games from the eshop then off some shady illegal site. The OP never said they were anti-piracy. Also cfw can be used for more then piracy so even if OP is anti-piracy they still could use CFW. (Region free cartridges, backing up their own games, save dumping for ds games, DS mode homebrew, overclocking ds games, and many others.)

I'm not so sure he is anti-piracy so much as he just values the money he spend on his past purchases and would rather retain their legitimacy. I can relate, even if the difference is only one of sentiment.

If you are planning on doing a DSiware downgrade using the upcoming method, yes, you will be able to keep all your games, as the process will only require homebrew launcher access.

The new method will also require access to any one of the exploits that can get you into the homebrew launcher. At this time, unless you already have some secondary entry point installed, there is no public free primary entry points into the homebrew launcher on 10.7 and above.

I'd urge you to buy a copy of fieldrunners from the 3DS eShop in case it's removed when the new method becomes viable, keep in mind that there's no ETA on when the new method will become usable, so until then you're going to be a sitting duck.

I have fieldrunners already, and I have both Ocarina of Time 3D (that I borrowed from a friend, though they're fine with me using it for what he calls shady purposes) and Cubic Ninja. I'm pretty much set.

If everything is on your sysnand you should be fine and the process should be much easier+faster since you don't have to transfer your emunand over.
