I really want to recompile the Meritious port and maybe a couple older homebrew with the new LibNX so I can get inputs working again? The only experience I have with compiling software is when I built CEN64 and vWii SNEEK from source and those were with tutorials/build instructions Can anybody give me pointers?

would also be intressted in this kind of stuff, just for fun,to update old homebrew stuff for newest versions :3

without touching the source code I would say just install the corresponding older version of libnx.

You need the source code and recompile it.
The compiler might give some error, specially if the libraries used have been updated to newest firmware.
If that is the case, you need to modify the code to matches with the new library code.

If you want to keep running a homebrew that is not supported with the newest firmwares, you can make an emunand and downgrade it with daybreak.

Hope this helps.
