Nope you will get an error. I have yet to hear of anyone getting a brick.

Downloading on NUSGrabber will always give reduced file sizes than the actual game file size
Is safe to continue if i have the edited .tik for that game?

It's compressed before it is installed, the download from nusgrabber will most of the time be smaller than the actual installed size for this reason.

An example of this is Smash Bros. 4, it is compressed to 11.6 gb before install.
