Gaming Help with codes I keep trying but I just crash

Hi im reaching out cause I saw a cheat code for hollow knight silksong 1.0.3 and im trying to figure out how to make my own. I just want 2x damage like I had on an old build version but anytime I try anything my game crashes cause im messing with the wrong memory most likely. The current build im usings one hit kill is 040A0000 023A5224 52800009 and an old build id 2x damage is 04000000 023203A4 4B150529 i was trying to make it work off that but im just stumped. Maybe yall can help?
