Hardware New 3DS or Nintendo Switch

Hello everyone, I have an O3DS and have been thinking of getting an N3DS for the longest time but because of the Nintendo Switch, I am unsure of which one would be more worth getting. I do get annoyed at some games having long loading times like smash bros but should I just take the long loading and save my money for a switch or get a new 3ds and wait a year or 2 to get a switch. Thanks!

I don't think the New Nintendo 3DS will be dropped for a while. I'd say go for both and sell your old 3DS for xtra cash.

I dunno. New 3ds has an instant library of games on multiple platforms (3ds, ds, dsi, gba, and all for free if you hack).
Switch is months down the road, several hundred bucks, and a couple of years till a decent library.

Never pays to be an early adopter.

I'll buy one, though, because I already have a New 3ds and I'm insane.

Nevermind, I missed the part where you have an old3ds. Wait, then.

I'm in the same situation, I'm getting the switch since I'd rather have a whole new console over a revision of a current one. Although if the N3DS starts to get more exclusives and they don't drop it when the Switch comes out (like they said they wouldn't, but I kind of doubt that) I might.

Yeah, there's not much on the 3ds I want right now, all I really need is Pokemon sun and moon and fire emblem fates and those will probably be my last 3ds games so im 99% sure ill get the switch.

Probably the only reasons i wanted the new 3ds is for smash bros 3ds (because my friends still dont have wii u) and for hacking my 3ds for capture.

Ugh, the switch looks like another gimmick. The tablet's weird too... I'm honestly just gonna vote for the New3ds.

I think it'll take time to get used to it like the wii u. If anything, I do like the idea of the switch a lot to be honest.
