you can use nnupatcher to update games if you're using dns update block

be aware your system is vulnerable to system updates while using this too

yes, the first byte is the game format.
it make sense the title installer refused to install a disc ticket.

I think Kohmei explained the second byte. just a flaw (or the way it works) in the RSA. The flaw is probably from the start nintendo using the same IV, and also the SAME title key for both disc and NUS games. Probably by design to prevent having different update files and DLC for each format.

What's the benefit of this compared to loading games from SD with Loadiine? It sounds like it just has more restrictions, like region lock.

online play and easy access, as this progresses it might be the preferable method, but right now it's for bleeding edge folks

How to subtract -2 when the base is C1 when hex editing a ticket?
Can someone explain this to me?

Pros: No need to run a kexploit, not rely on SD cards, use a larger and faster HDD, having the games on the Home screen, online-compatible, easy to update.
Cons: Only legit DLC, region lock.

That's as far as I can tell. Since I'm just converting my physical collection into digital copies, it's all pros for me.

http://www.binaryhexconverter.com/hex-to-decimal-converter

Convert to decimal, substract/add 2, then convert back to hexadecimal. That's how I do it, at least.

That's a RSA flaw? changing only one byte for another single changed bytes.

It was explained on the first post.

either reading Saviine thread's first post, or loadiine thread's first post.

the "8000000x" X part is user account dependent.
You need to first dump one of your existing save to know your X value.
Okay ,I copied my C folder from "Mario Kart 8 [AMKE01]" on the sd card to my pc, But trying to dumb my mario kart 8 save from the wiiu to know my user value , but it hangs on "listening on 7332 ", Am i doing something wrong ?
