I have an a9lh n3ds xl, I was trying to install the hax save to the game to get it to work on a friend's O3DS 11.0. It wasn't working when loading the save and pressing A. Help?

EDIT: I think I was just missing the ropbin on the SD card. Whoops. Close thread, please and thank you?

EDIT2: I just tried it and it isn't working still lol
Any ideas?

1. Do you have the 3ds starter kit extracted on the ds card?
2. Is your firmware the same as his

1. Yep.

2. Nope. I installed the save for the Old 11.0.0.33 US, which he has. I have NEW 11.1.0.34 US

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

You need to use the correct files for the 3ds

YOU HAVE A NEW 3ds, HE HAS THE OLD. YOU NEED TO USE THE OLD 3ds FILES

I did. :/

https://github.com/yellows8/oot3dhax/releases/tag/06-26-16 Use these files. When doing the powersaves stuff, go into saveimages powersaves, c2fe folder, usa, Post5_u_25600_usa_9221.bin. In the powersaves folder rename is file like the others A2123123..(Post5_u_25600_usa_9221).bin. Then select this file

I need powersaves for this? If so, that clears things up. I don't have powersaves. I'm using the homebrew save installer. I have A9LH

Oh I just assumed you were using powersaves :/. If you have it, use it. If not use the exact same file but in the Save images folder.

From the link I posted download the zip. In the zip there will be 2 folders, save images and power save images. In the save images choose the one starting with c2fe. Then choose the usa folder and grab the folder called Post5 with the number 25600. This is the one you should use with jksm.

All right. Thank you very much. :) I'll need to figure out where to put the files though.

Instead of using the OoT3Dhax installer, use JK's Save Manager / SVDT / save_manager and restore the savefile from this .zip posted by @zoogie to your OoT3D cartridge. OoT3Dhax should work on your friends 3DS after doing that. Spam A from the save profile screen until you see debug text on the upper screen to trigger OoT3Dhax (somewhat) reliably.
