I'm almost sure he's trying to boot the 2.1 emuNAND. Just simply press L with the SD card and the 3DS will boot the sysNAND.

Hi guys, i have a similar problem...
As the other guy, the blue light reminds for less than 1 sec.
In the image attached you can see the files on the sd card.
Although it is arm9loaderhax.bin on it, still doesn't work...
Any ideas?

Thx in advance

Have you tried this?

You need AuReiNand or Cakes (or another A9LH compatible CFW) installed on your SD card. Your 3DS will not boot without it. Easy way to make sure you didn't brick it is to download Decrypt9WIP, put Decrypt9WIP.bin in the root of your SD card, and rename it arm9loaderhax.bin. If your console boots into Decrypt9WIP, you just need to properly install a CFW.

Your 3DS will not boot without a functional arm9loaderhax.bin in your SD card's root.

Is there a troubleshooting guide on this forum to check for these errors? Even though the solution was a bit simple we should log this and ad this use case to a guide.

In what part and step of the guide are you?
What Firmware where you when you started the guide?

Download latest Luma and copy over the arm9loaderhax.bin to SD root (overwrite the one that is there)
Delete the config.bin inside the Luma folder.
Delete Launcher.dat and Decrypt9WIP.dat from SD root

If you already installed A9LH, delete arm9.bin and arm11.bin from SD root. Copy the a9lh folder to a backup on PC (and online cloud) along with the NANDmin.bin and NANDmin.bin.sha on files9 folder.

Put SD on console and boot. Luma configuration screen will boot.

Pulling out the SD cart about a second after I turned on my O3DS allowed it to turn on. I'm no expert so I don't know if that's safe.

Don't follow video guides, they are usually outdated. The text guide gets updated almost daily and new advancements are made to prevent things from going wrong...
If you think the language is a barrier i think there are forks of the guide for various languages. Don't know if they keep them up to date, though.

I did what you told and luma config doesn't boot.
i believe that i haven't installed yet the AHL9.
So, must i start from the beginning of the link?
https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-3-(A9LH)
sorry about the video thing
@angaba92
What console do you have? Old3ds or New3ds

As I see it, you were doing this when you pressed one key instead of SELECT, correct?
  • Press (Select) to Full Install
If this is the case, copy all files/folders from your SD to a folder on PC (make a backup).
Delete all files folders from SD, except "Nintendo 3DS" and "files9"
Inside "files9", delete all files except NANDmin.bin and NANDmin.bin.sha (and if you have, NAND_emu.bin and NAND_emu.bin.sha)

Next, do all the steps here from the beginning of this:
https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-3-(A9LH)#what-you-need

When you reach section II,go with the console you have (O3DS or New3DS). Don't do both.
And don't Forget to press SELECT when required.

Enable the options you need like "Autoboot SysNAND". Also, you're not on 2.1 are you? If so, you'll have to ctrtransfer to 9.2 using Decrypt9 and update from there.

Enable the first option , and restore your 9.2 sysnand backup with hourglass , luma can't boot 2.1 firmware.
