This is totally an idea and probably wont work, and would require a lot of money if it did work.
What if you BOUGHT www.nintendowifi.com?
You could link the official server with wiimmfi.
But would nintendo sell it?
Probably not.
I went to register.com, and this is all I got:
http://www.afternic.com/arrival/agent?ref_id=2987
Slim chances with anything happening with this, just an idea.

No.
A) No SSL certificates - need those made by Nintendo
B) They use nintendowfc.net/nintendowifi.net - this is used for 3DS/WiiU/Probably also NX aswell as DSi and Wii.

Not quite how it works. Nintendo owns that url name (domain). They're not going to just sell it. It'd be like asking them "hey, I wanna use nintendo.com for personal reasons. Will you sell it to me?"

https://www.whois.net/ is a good resource for finding out who owns what domain.

You'd probably be better with using DNS magic to trick it make it think a different url is nintendowifi.com...but as PokeAcer said, the real issue is certification and security and verification stuffs. That's outside of my wheelhouse, I'm sure someone else can explain it far better.
