Hi everyone, new here. I have a New 3ds in version 11.0.0.33E, and I have installed both menuhaxx and BaseHaxx.

I installed CTR HTTPWN and it did let me play online games like fire emblem fates or pokemon omega ruby. However, it didn't let me get into the eShop.:nds:

I wanted to try uninstalling and reinstalling again, but since powering the 3ds off didnt get the ctr httpwn effects off, I decided to run the application again to see if it showed any options related to shutting the application or reinstalling it, but it didnt: it just seemed to install it again. (I read the README file, I knew it said "don't install twice", but I'm such an impatient fool).

So now it doesn't matter how many times I try to run it again and power off the console. It just doesn't work the online, it asks me again to update the 3ds. I really don't want to update it because I hope someone gets a hack on this version when the time comes, but I also need the online options.

By the way, when I ran eshop from the homebrew channel, it ALWAYS crashed in a bottom yellow screen(with HANS too, crashing before getting into menu where you choose region, version and all that stuff). And when I ran it from the home menu it asked me to update. By always I mean before and after installing the ctr HTTPWN, including the time it worked. So, if someone knows how to solve this it will be so helpful.

Sorry for this long text, but I want to let you know the exact problem I have, since other solutions in other threads didn't work for me. Thanks for reading!!!:)

Run ctr-httpwn, exit the homebrew launcher without reboot or power off the 3ds (press start and X).
Then, you can launch the eShop, or miiverse, or your game.
If you reboot the 3ds or power off it, ctr-httppwn will disappear.
Yep, you need to start once time ctr-httpwn every time you power on the 3ds if you want to play online.

edit: If you haven't the option to exit the homebrew launcher without rebooting, download the latest starter pack (boot.3dsx).

Ok I have another problem. When I reboot using start+X, it just stays in the same screen (the one with options) until I press the power button, then the grey waiting mode menu pops up and if I try to press the home button it will stay in white the screen where says "home menu", until I power it off again. Sorry for giving that many problems.

EDIT: This happens using both menuhaxx and basehaxx. And I have the latest starter pack.

Try to download the latest homebrew launcher (https://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/starter.zip), and retry. When you use start+x, wait about 10 seconds (you will not return to the home menu immediately)...

edit: what's your entrypoint?

Sorry to bother again, but it has no sense to make a new thread about a new problem. Remember when I said that when I exited the homebrew without rebooting (start + X) it crashed and stayed there? It happens again. In fact, the start+X only worked once, and I am using indeed the latest starter pack. Do you know what's the problem?

That's weird. Can you make a video (power on the 3ds -> your entrypoint -> ctr-httpwn -> start+x -> your game) or explain us what you exactly do with your 3ds?

there it is. I can also upload an image of the files in my SD, if you need so.

EDIT: As you can see, the problem isn't from the ctr httpwn, even though I thought so. Sorry if I got you confused.

Apparently the home menu needs to be on a good state in order to exit from the homebrew loader without a reboot, I couldn't use ctr-ttpwn until I uninstalled completely menuhax, and I couldn't uninstall on a normal way menuhax, I needed to erase the home menu data manually

Ok I understand. In fact, when it worked for me (just once, idk why) was after I eliminated all the starter pack files from the SD and replaced them again. Anyway, if you don't mind, could you tell me what data did you erase manually?

EDIT: ok this is weird. I deleted the folder called "menuhax" from the root of the 3ds SD card, and now it works perfectly (though I have to use BaseHaxx).I'll test it again just so I can ensure that this has been solved. BTW, do you know how could I fix this menuhax problem?

EDIT 2: It works. I found a forum where someone says that you can't return to home menu while using new Menuhax as an entry point, due to how that entry point works. Sorry for causing this trouble, I hope this does help someone who need this though. And thank you so much for your attention!

Its not the best way to do that, its preferred uninstall menuhax with its own app, anyway I uninstalled manually when I turned on the 3ds and hold l,r down and b, it resets the notifications on the 3ds, there is other way to uninstall menuhax, but I'm too lazy to search that info, but I don't know if you already fix the problem with ctr-httpw
