@duke_srg Thanks for you tips about VM homepass Duke! It's workig very well.

With the VM Image:
after disconnect and Restart Guest i can see in VM Window wlan0 not found.
My Wlan Stick is a TP Link TL-WN722N.
Can everyone please help me?

For VM image you need to press ALT+F1
user: root password: notforall
Type this
nano /etc/init.d/nzone
Change the WLSSID to attwifi
Change the url to http://nintendozone.dynu.net?
press ctrl+x and press Y to save the changes, then enter

nano /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules
and go to the second line, and in the very end of it change wlan1 to wlan0
press ctrl+x and press Y to save the changes, then enter

after type reboot or poweroff
(all this with the wlan card plugged in)

It should work.

You can also, as root, do this if you are on FW 11.1:
nzone stop
nzone start GBATEMP,49

I'm using VM for years without problems, just need these modifications.

OK. I just got this message.

Edit: ok. If I am understanding correctly, I need to go back to the original method, with macshift or Mac changer where I also have to set up the ssid in my 3ds Internet settings. I've been using NBAHomepass so long, i can't find my original skriptwork and step by step instructions. If someone can help confirm this and help me out, that'd be great?

Try to run nzone.exe stop before starting again. It is a bit safer.

VM image updated with recent changes

Hi Duke
I'm having trouble with the latest image, nothing connects to the homepass. I can see the ap but when I try to connect with my iphone it disconnects but I can see in the logger screen the mac address of my phone. But none of my 3ds even try and connect, any help?

Are you sure 3ds DO NOT have a configured connection with attwifi SSID?

CubeLer you have to type root and press enter then type notforall then enter. Passwords do not show while typing in case somebody watches you!

Still no hits. I haven't been able to rectify the problem with my RTL8187 so I'm going to try a different adapter sometime later. Thanks for your help so far.

i have the same problem as @Ericjwg
And...
USB 1-1 : ath9k_htc: firmware - htc_9271.fw download failed

Well, I give up. I'll try back in maybe a few months.
I feel the same way.
For Windows method, if you can load McDonalds page with Nintendo Zone app AND can see MAC address is changing in time, then the only problem is the lack of people using the same wireless adapter driver.

No idea if it would even work. Ran your new nzone.exe last night (which didn't even grab the nzone.macs file and didn't change the mac at all either), so no Streetpass hits. :(
And, well, if I could check it with the Nintendo Zone app I would, if I still had it, lol.
