Before anyone comes in here to say "OMG this has been posted liek 73 times!!?Lurn 2 goggle", (No disrespect, though. I know you guys just want to keep the threads organized.) I have searched Google and visited multiple threads on Gbatemp and I haven't found anyone with the same problem as I.

Okay, last night I was on my Homebrew (W/ mashers HBL). I decided I would like to play some Pokemon AS, to see if I could take a screenshot in it to show my friends. I opened it and pressed the Home button. AS crashed, and it loaded my Home menu. "Hey, it looks like I found a way to get back to my Home menu!", I thought to myself.

But, the next time I try to load Homebrew (By holding L + R + D-pad-Down), I find that it doesn't load!
I have no idea what could have caused this. I know Homebrew is still on my system, because my custom themes are still shuffling and my Elf's World badge is still looking snazzy, but now I have no way to get back into Menuhax.

I'm running FW 11.0.0-33 U.
Any ideas for a fix? Thanks in advance. You guys are awesome.

Is there a way I can install Menuhax without going into the Homebrew menu? I currently have no way to get in on my 3ds.

Browserhax won't work, because I'm not on the latest FW (11.1.0-34). Unless, of course, I can remove the update nag on the Browser. But I haven't found something like that for 11.0.

I've seen people report that if you do a system format, don't set the internet up on the initial startup, and set your country/region to Albania, once things are up you can add your network settings and then use the browser on lower firmwares.

N3ds or o3ds?
Old 3DS.

Thanks. I'll try this now.
EDIT: Wait, I don't think I want to format my system. But thanks still.

Hmm... Do you have an sd card backup from sometime recently? You could just restore the theme data folder into your Nintendo 3ds folder if yes. That should restore the menuhax files. I dont know the folder id you need, but i know it is listed in plailects guide somewhere in the main 3 sections. Shouldnt be hard to find.

EDIT:
SD:/Nintendo 3DS/(32 Character ID)/(32 Character ID)/extdata/00000000/
  • EUR Region: copy 00000098
  • JPN Region: copy 00000082
  • USA Region: copy 0000008f
  • KOR Region: copy 000000A9

I do have a somewhat recent backup from upgrading my SD card. So I just have to find this file on my SD card and replace it with that old one, or am I missing something?

Nope, just like you said. Replace the current folder on your sd with the backup one. Should work as long as the backup was from the same system version, I think. To be fair I havent tested this, but Im pretty sure it will work. Backup the original folder if youre worried about it. It may break your theme settings, not sure on that part.

Could you please show me a picture of it, or specify a bit please? Sorry for being a noob.

Sorry, Im at work right now so I cant. Just follow the folders i listed to find it. The parts that say 32 character id are different for each system. Its just 32 random numbers and letters. Should only be one folder like that in the nintendo 3ds folder. If you have more than one let me know.

Gotcha. Thanks for all the help.
