As the title says.

From what I understand, it's not hard to use a hacked 3DS online without being banned, but not unheard of either.

I just wanted to ask if there is anything specific people know of that has a high change or guarantee of getting you banned?

From what I understand, using "developer mode" firmware and playing online games that aren't from your region can do it, I have no idea if using Luma3DS, or playing games installed off of CIA, or using homebrew apps, or even having homebrew apps installed by CIA can do it. Or if anything else can do it.

Also, from what I understand, unless you were cheating or being offensive on Miiverse, it's the system that gets banned and not your account, right? And if you did do something to get your account banned, are those permanent? I have only ever heard of account bans that were temporary.

Is there any type of FAQ or Guide on the DO's and DONT's of using a hacked 3DS and anything you might be able to do with a hacked 3DS online? Obviously cheating and being offense on Miiverse are part of the DONT's, but are there others?

I am not sure what this public header thing is, I read about it but didn't get it.

However, from what I understand, if I am, using Luma3DS and installing games by CIA then it's not something I need to worry about? That don't use CIA games only applies to using flashcarts, not Luma3DS right?

Also, is there any way I can block imports from trying to connect online if I import games? Removing the region lock was one of the reasons I hacked it, and I wouldn't want a game to try to auto-connect and get me banned.

If you're using luma3ds and using CIA Games you don't need to worry about anything or anything to do with public headers.
You can play other region games too without harm, it's safe, even if it attempts to connect to the internet!

I'd go ahead and remove the first two from my experience.
I got banned on Badge Arcade for cheating...so why you should remove it what

And the out of region games, IIRC Monster Hunter Cross X(or something like that idk) was Japan only, and some people started to use it on USA, getting them banned permanently so...
