Ever since updating my N3DS to 11.1.0, whenever I install a CIA, it won't unwrap regardless of how many times I tap "Unwrap" on the home screen unless I first reboot my system. Has anyone ever encountered something like this before?

Which CFW are you using, and are you on the latest version of said CFW?

We could make it so he doesn't have to reboot to unwrap his games, though. It'd be more convenient.
What I mean was rebooting that one time only. He probably just installed his new hacks and some bugs/cache what ever needs to clear by rebooting.

Are you sure? His post said nothing to indicate that it only ever happened once, for all we know it might happen every time he installs a CIA.

The way the OP is written, it sounds like s/he has installed a CIA, attempted to unwrap it, rebooted, unwrapped it, installed another CIA and experienced the same issue again.

Don't actually hold your breath, @Tomato Hentai lol. They say it's bad for your health!

I'm having the same issue, actually. It doesn't bother me too much, as I have a quick-reboot CIA so just tapping that is fast enough to not matter. But for what it's worth, I'm on 11.0 (U) SysNAND, installing CIAs with the latest version of FBI. My Luma version is 5.5 non-dev, which I imagine is quite old by now. I'll update to the latest and give it another shot...

...and, updated. Still having the same weird behavior.
Here's a video demonstrating it:

(Sorry for the portrait video and the air conditioner noise in the background. It's unlisted for a reason.)

Bump, has anyone been able to fix that "issue"? I have a freshly hacked 2ds with that problem - every time there is a CIA installed, the console needs to be rebooted in order to unwrap the gift. And also, as takasu27 wrote: "...when you click to other apps its banner wont show but when you restart the console its ok again".

I followed 3ds.guide, so it's got newest luma+a9lh.

UPDATE: After a bit of experimenting I found out that it only happens if I close homebrew apps like freeshop and FBI by using in-app exit option ("select" button for freeshop and "start" for FBI). However, if I close these apps by pressing "home"->"X" everything works normally (I can unwrap without rebooting and banners are showing).

Is it considered normal or there is a fix for it?
