Hacking RxTools update safe on new update?

Is it safe to update rxTools to the newest version? (11.1.0-34)

I haven't been on this forum for a while, so maybe people don't still use rxTools... I don't know. But in theory, should it be safe?

Edit: I looked around a bit and found out that rxTools is very outdated now. I will probably switch from rxTools to something else pretty soon, but for now I just need to quickly know this.

To be fair, it does have a nice looking UI to it but I still agree something more updated and still currently supported.
You can still get a lovely UI with Decrypt9, plus no one actually properly uses RXTools, everyone just uses RXMode. That's the biggest issue with RXTools, there's no reason to use if you aren't even properly using it. Plus the actual RXTools are broken, try making a NAND back up, 7/10 times it will crash or lock up.
