i know but im afraid on this a9lh XD
i want to stay with menuhax and use rxtools until he supports no more updates
Ew, can't you at least switch to Luma or something? It takes a few minutes, not even to switch to Luma. All you have to do is put a few files on your SD card and you're done.

So, as a o3ds a9lh user who doesn't use homebrew much at all, is it safe to update? Will the Home Menu and NATIVE_FIRM updates mess with luma3ds and/or a9lh?

so far noone who installed a9lh had to worry about their 3ds hack ever again and the fact that you have to worry about it and crawl forums every single update should justify the small leap of faith which if you have a working sd card and integrity check your files should be more like flying with a jetpack. plailects guide covers about everything

Does that firm works on both o3DS and N3DS even being dumped from O3dS?
No, you'd need to dump the Nfirm from 11.0 for N3ds for an N3ds and visa versa for an O3ds.

not really , i mean yea A9LH users have less to worry about but anytime NFIRM's updated we do have reason to be skeptical as they may eventually find away around our FIRM0/FIRM1 protectiosn and Disable/overwrite or Program Homemenu to detect and Error if A9LH is in use.

I'm on a 2DS w/ Luma3DS & A9LH and everything is fine besides the expectedly broken HBL.
I'd backup your NAND just to be on the safe side.

Implying there arent countless a9hl users asking every update too.

Alright. I expected that, the loads for HBM won't be updated today most likely. I'll update when I get home.
