So this doesnt play backups then? I thought it did.
I don't know. If it can play backups, I would try some cool stuff :'D
Can someone tell me if this tool is able to play Backups from disc?
I guess it should be possible to patch the sigcheck out for that if we can bypass the Regionlock already.

EDIT:
I don't even know if it's possible to create WiiU Game Disc Backups ^^'

That's not how it works.

Probably. But it's possible to patch the sigchecks temporarily, right?
So if we would be able to exploit the kernelmode to patch the sigchecks temporarily and if we're able to create disc backups, it should be possible, right?
Or is IOSu needed for that?
Signature checks are all handled on the IOSU side of things, so unless there's a serious oversight somewhere you'll probably need an IOSU exploit to play disc-based backups.
Something else worth noting - how, exactly, do you plan on burning a Wii U disc? You've probably noticed that the discs are all rounded and aren't standard Blu-Rays; and I seriously doubt Nintendo put a drive capable of reading burnt discs (which are physically different to pressed ones) into the Wii U. Time will tell, I suppose.

A package of 50 blank Wii U discs for use with CAT-R Reader devkits and CAT-R Writer units. Discs cannot be written to using standard disc drives. They also cannot be run on retail Wii U units.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CAT-R Writer is used to write game data to CAT-R Discs for use with a CAT-R Reader for final testing of games.
CAT-R Writer is used to write System Updates to CAT-R Discs for updating the firmware of a CAT-R Reader.
Equipped with a proprietary disc drive for writing data to CAT-R Discs (development discs).

Requirements
Hardware: PC with a SATA interface to which the proprietary disc drive can connect
Software: Windows7 Service Pack 1(32bit/64bit), Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5

Haven't seen that before; that's kinda cool actually. Got a source for the discs too? I'm assuming this is less than a few million dollars.

edit: I can read

CAT-R Disc Writer => $1,075.00
50 Blank CAT-R Discs => $520.00

I don't know if we can run CAT-R Discs on a Retail unit by using kernel- or IOSU-Exploit.
But yea, this shit is expensive

Hi,

this project is awesome, and its going to make some of us very happy.

I have a USA console, in 5.5.1, and I am installing and launching OurLoader with Homebrew Loader. I have version 0.0.3 installed. I've tried the following games:

Starfox Guard [EUR region] -> Black screen
Starfox Zero [EUR region] -> Black screen
The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD [EUR region] -> It works!

Super Mario Maker [USA region] -> Sends me back to Mii Maker.
Mario Kart 8 [USA region] -> Sends me back to Mii Maker.
The Legend of Zelda The WindWaker HD [USA region] -> It works! (I start seeing a pattern here...)
The Wonderful 101 [USA region] -> Sends me back to Mii Maker.
Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze [USA region] -> Sends me back to Mii Maker.

Let me know if I can provide you with any more info, or if there is any other EUR game that I can try for you

Does this work in same way as loadiine in where you are running the out of region disk under Mii Maker or something like that, or does it allow the game to be run as itself, legit in-game mode?

So my question is; with this could I actually play say, PuyoPuyo Tetris online if I buy a disc?

Oh by the way, I wanted to ask what happens if you try to access the online functions of the out of region game using this app?
Are you able to login or do you get an error?
