IMO ShadowNAND has more features for now. The minute Aurora's A9LH surpasses ShadowNAND I'm back to that one.

I mean, the main feature of ShadowNAND, and the one that literally all the hype was generated for was SD-less booting, which Aurora's A9LH has (and in fact is where shadowhand took the code from). The only other feature of interest is the alt-stage 2, but most people don't need it, and the people who do can get it without shadownand.

Power-on screens involve splash screens / boot animations. Search for the magikarp thread and bootanim9 thread for more info.

I agree that it was overhyped, but RShadowhand never said it was all his own work, credits were given. And yes, currently I don't need altstage2, but Aurora's has nothing more to offer, so why not go with the implementation with more features?

I trust Aurora's code much more than I trust Shadowhand copying and pasting her code into his fork. When it's something as powerful as a9lh, trust is a huge issue.

I've got bootanim9 and the power off screen just changes the text? I think i remeber a version which changed the colour.
