LG K7 has this problem after being dropped in water. It was dried but I don't know how to fix this. :(

Did you let it sit at all to dry? Or did you grab a cloth and wipe it down? You've killed the screen and/or the phone itself. Maybe it died in the fall, or the water got to it, but it's dead.

Well this is a friend's phone and it couldn't turn on until I fixed the problem by completely drying it. The phone still vibrates when turning off and stuff. I don't think it is dead though

If it still does things like turn on and off and vibrate, then the phone must be fine. The screen's dead though. I'm no phone expert however, so I'm probably not 100% accurate. My advice would be to turn it off and leave it shut off overnight and check on it in the morning. Maybe it'll magically fix itself. It also might be a good idea to throw it in a bag of rice. Also, since you point out you completely dried it, I'll assume you wiped it down and maybe blew all the water off the outer part. If there was any water in the phone at all (in the charging port, in the speaker) then you killed the phone when you turned it on.

I dried everything with 91 percent alcohol.

It's good you got the outside dry, but unless you opened the phone and took a q-tip to it to dry the inside or let it sit out for a long time, there was definitely water on the inside of the phone. Turning it on killed it.

Take it apart and check for corrosion. If the main board has corrosion, it's pretty much dead or dying. You can attempt to swap screens to see if anything still functions.

Also, wipe the inside parts with alcohol and let it dry with rice if possible.

Your(or your friend's) main goal here should be the retrieval of data. After you've wiped off some of the corrosion and switched screens, try to boot into recovery and transfer the files you need to your PC. Your friend can see if it functions regularly, if it does, it might not last long, but that's all TBD until you see the internals.

its dead jim, try to copy all your files if you can, or replace the screen if possible.
That's up for debate xD
There are multiple variables that affect the survivability if this phone. For instance, the length of time the phone was submerged for, how quickly it was dried after it was dropped, etc.

But yes, boot into recovery, mount system, copy files.

Guys the LCD is damaged. Screen seems to be fine.

LCD replacement is expensive though.
