Hacking downgrade from 11.0 to 9.2 backup

OMG i was so dumb...
I followed Plailect´s guide for the arm9loaderhax to softmod my friends 2ds.
But in the middle of the 2.1.0 downgrade the system bricked. Luckily(sadly) i had the option to update to 11.0.0.33E

My problem now is, how do i downgrade the 2ds to 9.2? Tried with Emunand9 but it doesnt start. I have an backup of 9.2 from the 2ds and can use oothax to use the homebrewlauncher.
Any ideas?

You have to hardmod to restore the nand backup. emunand9 requires an arm9 exploit which isn't present after 9.2
edit: or do the dsiware exploit thing, but that requires you to do a couple downgrades beforehand

Your options are limited to either a hardmod, or dsiwarehax to downgrade (requires already hacked system).

Edit: I know you can't transfer from N3DS -> O3DS, but I'm unsure about 2DS transfers. I would imagine a O3DS -> 2DS and 2DS -> O3DS would work, but I'm not certain.

Thats my problem. I have a fully hacked n3ds but i cant system transfer it to the 2ds.
So the only way i have now is to use a hardmod. I thought i could use the backup from the 2ds to downgrade.

Unfortunately you still need a method to restore the backup.

Alright, i called a friend to borrow his 2ds ( i softmodded it before) and used it to system transfer. thank god he was still awake at 1 AM.
But still thanks for the help.

Dude dont close the thread just yet. If I may ask, could you post an update whether the dsi downgrade worked for you. People say that dsi downgrade is more risky than harmodding your unit. Well I know for certain that hardmod is always better, the only disadvantage is that it actually requires technical skills in electronics. That's the reason why soft downgrades are there for people like me who are not confident with their soldering skills. Lol. Thanks

I used the dsi downgrade with only a few problems but i fixed it.

The game i used was fieldrunners, with the edited save. When i wanted to use Plaisysupdater it always showed me the "cant get am:g" error.
Solution to this was using the dgtool.nds to downgrade the FIRM again (about 2 times). After that i have followed the guide and all worked as it should.

EDIT: And never forget backups!
