Hacking Basics on Hacking a 3ds

Hi i've just bought a new 3ds ver 9.6.0-24 U. And was eager to hack it to play 3ds games. And upon research i've read about A9lh and Luma 3ds. And it confused me a heck of alot. All i wanna do is play games.... so do i just install those two and i'd be able to play downloaded 3ds games just like the good ol' psp days???

Yes, but I'd highly recommend you stay away from them. The guide changes, and any videos will be outdated fast. Every time someone has had an issue, they always say "I was watching a video tutorial" etc. Stick to the text guide and you'll be fine.

hi Shadowfied it appears i'm having a problem launching emuNAND9... i pressed it and my bottom 3ds screen flashes red then it just refreshes back to the homebrew menu.

Ignore him. He doesn't know what he's talking about.

Keep on trying through Menuhax. Make sure you have the latest version.

maybe this might help... upon downgrading, everything seemed fine until the last part the bottom screen said something like nintendo has occurd an error pls reboot? or somewhere along that line. however i checked my setting and it states 9.2.0-20U so i assume that was suppose to happen?

Might have gotten an incomplete downgrade. Run the sysupdater and do the downgrade again!

YES! that was the issue. i downgraded it again and now emuNAND9 works! once again appreciate the help and very quick replies

We can't tell you exact URLs, I'm sure you'll find "that ISO site"!
