Homebrew hello, new here, how do i know which saves for powersaves to use for OoThav

I bought one about a month ago that came with that firmware. Source: me. Do a Google search of the serial number of the 2DS if you don't believe me.

Hmm, the best would be 9.2, but anything from 9.0 to 10.3 would be good, and 10.4 to 10.7 being doable but less convenient. Below 9.0 is annoying, but possible, and 11.0 is impossible.

Red/Black and Blue/Black (the ones that come with Mario Kart 7) have 6.0.0-12U.

ok so i just caved in and bought a new 2DS its has Version 6.0.0-12U so yay for not being 11.0

now what should i do about getting CFW should up use OoTHAX to get the CFW i want or

OoThax -> Downgrade -> CFW -> FreeShop

with out the Downgrade step ?

or do i need

OoThax -> Upgrade -> CFW -> FreeShop

to upgrade it first with OoTHax to to 9.2?

Yes. Did you get the correct save file on your OOT3D cartridge?

that, im trying to figure out right now... how do i get the hacked save file onto the OOT cartridge i have the power saves hooked up to the 3ds cart, but i guess idk where to put the hacked save file for the power saves program to see it?

Back up your save with PowerSaves and see where it places it.

You'll need to be connected to the internet to perform a system update in Part 3.

currently just past the

20. Press Y to format your SysNAND (Don't worry, everything is still saved on RedNAND)

after i pressed Y it did some stuff and rebooted to the home menu

21. Go through initial setup without linking your Nintendo Network ID, you want it to remain linked only to RedNAND to prevent issues

did i do something wrong?

You should've gone through the initia setup, not be rebooted to the home menu. Did TinyFormat give you any errors?

Are you positive that it rebooted you back to the home menu? If so, then I don't really know what to do about that.

after i pushed Y i haven't pushed any inputs on the 2ds so its still on the home menu...

should i try the "TinyFormat" again?
