Pretty interesting, if that's the case. I suppose it also couldn't hurt to recompile it for the newest libctru and see if that might change anything too.

Edit: An offset shouldn't do anything for it, since that only affects ARM9 payloads. Did you mean the autobootfix or something instead?

Edit 2: I'm still fairly sure that it's something in the hax payload, and not this homebrew. In CIA format, it works flawlessly.

Ah, well as mentioned I hadn't actually tried setting an offset to that entry yet.

As far as why it works when booting through CtrBootManager but not through the HBL menu itself, perhaps it has to do with how the ram is mapped prior to launching?
Quite a few homebrew have experienced weird issues launching that have been rectified by booting Ftbrony before or using CtrBootmanager as a middleman.
If it's sensitive to the memory mapping, this also might explain why it stopped working after I went in and out of the HBL menu a few times, into Ftbrony, and then back to trying the wifitoggle from Ctr.

I'm not 100% familiar with how the hax payloads work, so I can only guess something in it is broken most of the time, when it tries to grab the nwm::EXT handle. I'm not a huge fan of the 3dsx format as it is (but I understand why it's needed).

Recompiling this with updated libctru made it work on N3DS Xl 10.5 hax 2.6
If anyone need i'll attach a zip with my compiled files.
EDIT: The problem is caused by the L R DOWN B Shortcut.
I resolved it creating a shortcut to boot.3dsx and tested out. (Using CtrBootmanager)
It may kill the service or something after the shortcut

This did break my wifi for homebrew... And this didn't fix it.
It's stuck like this now. I need a fix.

There's gotta be a way to reset this... right?
Right???
I don't want to be stuck with this problem, I used the wifi for my homebrew and now I can't.

EDIT: Somehow it fixed itself but it wasn't working for a while.

What about compatibily with *hax 2.7?

Probably still won't work, NWM (which is what controls wifi) access has been broken since *hax 2.1 or so (so basically as long as it's ever grabbed a handle to NWM). I haven't tried lately, though, especially since CFW via A9LH or menuhax has more or less become mainstream (can just boot the CIA or turn it on/off from the Home Menu).

Works just fine on 2.7. You could always just take over mset if *hax doesn't give you that service anyway.

Where I can get the version in cia format, because Homebrew Laucher 1.3 only works if the internet is working.

I downloaded it onto my 2DS hoping it would let me toggle wifi without having to go all the way to my Home Menu Quick Settings, but it was even worse than that. It basically forces me to close my current game to launch this app, which is kinda pointless, because I wanna toggle it mid-game, and the Quick Settings do that already. I dont really mind it with 3DS games, but DS games REQUIRE closing them to go back to the Home Menu, toggle the wifi on, and then launch it again, and not every game lets me save on the spot, so its kinda problematic. It wouldn't be a problem at all on the 3DS, since it has the convenient hardware wifi switch. So other than the hardware switch malfunctioning, I don't quite understand for who is this app for.

I mean, is it even possible to make an app that possibly uses a button combo or some other means to toggle wifi without having to exit the game?
