So what about 128GB in FAT32? Or is it "As long as it's in FAT32!"...?

I'm on an ODSTwo, and being able to have all my NES/SNES (!)/GBC/GBA/GENESIS/TG16 saves a lot of space on my 3DS so I don't have to DL VCware. In fact, I'm kind of disappointed in the 3DS MegaMan collection. I had really hoped it would be the new remix collection that was released on the consoles.

Although, I'll be honest, I REALLY want a DSTwo+ simply for better SNES play. Gotta love that era.

While NES collection (including Famicom only releases) is pretty small, the SNES isn't bad either. But the GBA starts eating up GBs. I completely leave DS games for my other GWBlueCart which I'd also would like to know how much it takes. Having 128GB is just awesome for completionists like myself.

OMG, BS Zelda... I love this game.

And the Mother collection... OMG.

But then there's Mega Man on Genesis and Castlevania on TG16...

MAME on the other hand... I would assume gains so much more on the DSTwo+. I tried a Street Fighter title on MAME once and the old DSTwo just laughed at me.

So yeah, what about 128GB in FAT32? Does DSTwo & R4i handle that much?

It is safest to just use a 32GB Sd card. Besides what exactly do you plan to put on there? EVERY SINGLE ROM?

Rom files for nds games range from 8MB Lowest to 256MB Highest. And i know no one is gonna play every single DS game cause only some are worth playing at all. It won't make sense to have that much unless your using it for other things than just DS game, if your using it for Emulators, All roms are fairly small and can even bee zip compressed to reduce size further. Unless your using it for moon shell or something like videos or music, (Which can be played on 3ds natively using 3ds sound) There really no reason to even need 32 GB, or higher. 16 or even 8 Is sufficent enough..

But again is your decision, so don't let me stop you.

EVERY SINGLE ROM?

Yup.
Every.
Single.
ROM.

Including rare BS games and ports to other systems other than Nintendon't.

Actually, more along the lines of NES/SNES/GB+C/GBA/MD/TG16.

I leave the .NDS mostly to my GW Blue Cart... which I'd love a 128GB mSD in as well... but...?

Psst, nice sig! ;-p

I Promise you that every single rom for the all those emulators can fit on a 32 GB Sd card. At most with using the zip compression you would still have more than 50% free space. And yes, as long as you format the card to Fat32 (NOT EXFAT) It should work without problems.

You can run zip compressed games without unzipping?

Ahh.. so I can't zip all the NES games into one file... got it.

Hrm, I wonder if the DSTwo can handle this?
