My Y, T, O, Windows button, and F12 have stopped working. This happened in the past, but magically fixed itself. The last time this happened was about 1-2 months ago. It is a laptop keyboard. What do I do? The broken buttons were typed with the onscreen keyboard. There has been no liquid dropped on my keyboard. I have not dropped my laptop.

The can be stuff like gunk or the connectors are just getting worn out or something. Go to a repair store can get the laptop keyboard replaced or just use a desktop keyboard if that works for you

After leaving it off for a night, all of the buttons that were broken now work again. Maybe overuse is wearing out the buttons? But if it was overuse, it wouldn't fix itself overnight and would be permanently damaged. My laptop does get hot under the keys, that could explain the Windows button, T, Y, and O not working but it's always very cold on the side of the keyboard with f12. Also, this is the first time I've used my laptop all day and toward the end of writing this post, T, Y, and O started failing again.
